Yearbind in ChatGPT

Yearbind Group Yearbook is a ChatGPT plugin for making a yearbook with a group: a class, a reunion, a team or a club. You start it in ChatGPT; members join on the web by link, add a photo and a quote, and vote on kind superlatives; you page through the finished book in the card.

What you can ask

  • “Let's make a yearbook for our 10-year class reunion”
  • “Make me a 1990s yearbook portrait from this selfie and add it to our Yearbind”
  • “Close voting on our yearbook and tell me the winners”

How to use it

  1. Add Yearbind to ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Yearbind Group Yearbook and add it, or mention Yearbind in a chat and allow it when asked.
  2. Start the yearbook. Say “Let's make a yearbook for our 10-year class reunion.” ChatGPT gives you the join link; the card shows it with a QR code.
  3. Send the link. Everyone opens it on yearbind.ambientapp.ai, with no account, and adds a photo, their name and a quote. You approve each person in the card.
  4. Add retro portraits. Share a photo and ask for a 1990s yearbook portrait; ChatGPT makes it and adds it to the book under the name you give.
  5. Vote and reveal. Members vote on the superlatives from their own page. When you're ready, say “Close voting”: ChatGPT reveals the winners and the book is final.

Questions

What can I ask Yearbind to do?

Start a yearbook, give you the join link and a message to forward, add portraits, add or remove superlatives, remove a member, show the pages, close voting and reveal the winners.

What doesn't it do?

It doesn't make images itself (ChatGPT does), doesn't show anyone vote counts, doesn't accept superlatives about looks, and never sends members' photos to ChatGPT.

Do members need ChatGPT or an account?

No. Only the organizer uses ChatGPT. Everyone else opens the join link on their phone or computer, adds a photo, their name and a quote, and votes. There is no account.

Where do the retro portraits come from?

From ChatGPT's own image tools: ask it for a yearbook portrait of your photo in the style you like, and Yearbind puts that image in the book. Members can also upload any photo of themselves. The book's era theme gives every photo the same look.

Are the superlatives kind?

They are positive only and never about looks: things like Most likely to start a business, Best laugh or Biggest heart. Yearbind turns down titles about appearance, bodies, dating or put-downs, and nobody ever sees vote counts, only the winners once voting closes.
