These terms are an agreement between you and The Open Apps, Inc. (Delaware, United States), the maker of Yearbind. By using Yearbind in ChatGPT or on yearbind.ambientapp.ai you agree to them. Contact: support@theopenapps.com.

Who can use Yearbind

You must be 13 or older to join or start a yearbook. If you're under 18, use Yearbind with a parent's or guardian's permission. You must be 18 or older to order printed copies (see below).

Your yearbook and your content

  • You keep the rights to the names, quotes and photos you add. You let us store, show and print them for the yearbook you added them to, and send them to the services in our privacy policy for that purpose.
  • Only add photos of yourself, or of people who agreed to be in the yearbook. Organizers: approve only people who belong to your group.
  • Keep it kind and suitable for ages 13 and up. No content about anyone's looks or body, no put-downs, nothing sexual, hateful, violent or illegal. Superlatives in Yearbind are positive only, and we turn down titles that aren't.
  • We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms, and anyone can ask us to remove a photo of themselves.

Votes and results

Votes are private. When the organizer closes voting, Yearbind counts the votes, shows only the winners, and the book becomes final. Closing voting can't be undone.

Printed copies

When printing is available, copies are printed and shipped by Lulu to the countries shown at checkout. Prices, taxes and delivery estimates are shown on the checkout page before you pay, and they are the same however you reach it. Payment is handled by Stripe.

  • Orders are for adults. You must be 18 or older to order. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older. Members aged 13 to 17 can be in a yearbook but can't order; a parent or guardian can order a copy for them.

  • You can cancel within 2 hours of paying by emailing us; after that the book may already be printing.

  • Because every book is personalised, we don't take returns. If a copy arrives damaged or misprinted, email us within 30 days with a photo and we'll reprint it or refund it.

The service

We work to keep Yearbind available and correct, but it is provided as is. We may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Yearbind is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

We'll update this page and its date when these terms change.
